A large number of users have been "anti-lured," and community members are full of grievances.

Early this morning, Grass (commonly known as "Xiao Cao" in the community) announced on the X platform that the token airdrop query has been launched (click here to jump to the airdrop query link). The query page only reflects the distribution of the test Alpha season and the 1st-7th seasons, excluding the ongoing reward season and pending distribution. The total supply of GRASS tokens is 1 billion, with 10% allocated to the first airdrop, and the detailed airdrop allocation is as follows:
- Test Alpha season: 1.5%;
- 1st-7th seasons: 7%;
- Reward season (current): 0.5%;
- Pending: 1%.
"Xiao Cao" is also considered a project with high airdrop popularity during this period. Therefore, as soon as the token query message was released, major "lure hair" communities became lively, and users who participated in the interaction went to check the amount of tokens they received. However, what followed was various grievances spreading on social media:
- "5.8 GRASS tokens, am I not mistaken? It's definitely anti-lure. Are there others who received even fewer?"
- "I created a bunch of accounts, but only received a few tokens for a billion points. How is this calculated?"
- "I started promoting from the first season, invited a total of 101 friends to participate, left the computer running for almost a year, often used VPN, only have one account, a total of over 7 million points, but only received 63 GRASS tokens in the airdrop. The electricity bill isn't even enough. This is unbelievable."
- "Xiao Cao successfully anti-lured. I am a beggar on the internet. I am a clown."

It can be said that currently on social media, whether it's individual users or studios luring hair in batches, almost everyone is complaining that the amount of tokens airdropped by Xiao Cao is too small, and the atmosphere is full of grievances. Next, Odaily Star Daily will briefly introduce the Grass project and the off-exchange price situation.
Introduction to the Grass Project
Image source: Official Twitter
Grass is the first project deployed on Solana that combines AI, Depin, and Solana technologies, positioning itself as the data layer of AI. As a decentralized network, Grass aims to provide the data needed for AI model training by accessing the public network. This makes Grass an important part of the AI data layer in the process of expanding to clean and prepare structured datasets, laying the foundation for its position in the field of AI.
According to ROOTDATA data, Grass has completed two rounds of financing, with a total amount of 4.5 million US dollars, as follows:
- In July 2023, Grass announced the completion of a $1 million Pre-Seed round of financing, with participation from No Limit Holdings, Big Brain Holdings, Builder Capital, Cogitent Ventures, Kyle Samani, Neel Somani, Rahim Noorani, and others;
- In December 2023, Grass announced the completion of a $3.5 million seed round of financing, with Polychain Capital and Tribe Capital leading the investment, and participation from Bitscale, Big Brain, Advisors Anonymous, Typhon V, and Mozaik.
Off-exchange Price
Currently, Grass token off-exchange trading has not been listed on well-known off-exchange trading platforms AEVO and Whales Market. Whales Market only previously listed the off-exchange trading market for Grass points. With the release of the token airdrop news, its off-exchange price has dropped significantly, currently trading at $0.00015 per point, with a 24-hour decline of nearly 40%.

Currently, there is buying interest in the OTC market at $0.2-0.25, but according to community feedback, sellers seem unwilling to trade off-exchange at such low prices, with some sellers wanting to sell at around $0.5.

Therefore, if sold at $0.5 per token, most users' airdrop quantities are concentrated between 10-100 tokens, receiving approximately $5-50 in airdrop rewards, a "pig's foot meal."
It is worth mentioning that the NFT project GigaBuds, invisibly launched by Grass, did not decline after the release of the token airdrop query message, but instead saw a slight increase, currently trading at 2.472 SOL, with a 24-hour increase of 12.18%. Of the 10% of tokens airdropped, 1% is currently officially listed as "pending," so the rise in GigaBuds' price instead of a decline may be due to the anticipation that this 1% will be given to NFT holders.
