Skate announces the launch of its first stateless application, which allows users to seamlessly interact across more than 20 chains, providing a user experience similar to that of a unified state single application. The aim is to change the traditional isolated application model and eliminate application fragmentation issues.

Paradigm Shift of Web3 Applications

In the traditional model, Web3 applications typically adopt a unified structure running on a single blockchain. Successful applications are forked onto other chains, resulting in multiple isolated states. Skate's stateless application model will change this approach, allowing applications to maintain a unified state across both EVM and non-EVM blockchain environments. Similar to traditional devices, users can run the same application on an Android phone, iPhone, or laptop browser. Skate is bringing this concept into Web3.

Introducing Skateboard Workshop

The first pilot stateless application is a Skateboard Workshop, where users can assemble their own skateboard across more than 20 chains. The link to access is: https://park.skatechain.org/en/nft

Users can create unique skateboard NFTs by collecting three basic components (skateboard frame, wheels, and deck). These components can be minted on all supported chains, demonstrating the stateless nature of the application. After collecting all components, users can create an NFT on the chain for "deck" minting.

The stateless application includes two main user interactions:

• Component Minting: Users express their intent to mint one of the skateboard components and receive a random component.

• Skateboard Assembly: After collecting all three components, users can assemble the complete skateboard.

Each assembled skateboard will also earn the user 250 Ollies. Before receiving Ollies, users must complete the Galxe mission (https://app.galxe.com/quest/Skate/GChsetvwYa).

Skate will conduct a witch review, and if the review is not passed, the user's Ollies will be deducted.

Stateless Application Roadmap

The vision of the stateless application is to operate across all EVM and non-EVM chains. We will roll out this pilot project in three stages:

• Stage 1: Integration with over 20 EVM-compatible chains. (Completed)

• Stage 2: Expansion to TON.

• Stage 3: Expansion to Solana and Eclipse.
