Benefiting from the hot GameFi market and the launch of the PvE adventure mode for xPET, both XPET and BPET have risen significantly.

As shown in the above figures, XPET has gained a 6x increase in 10 days, while BPET has gained a 10x increase in 10 days.

Interpretation of xPET Adventure Mode

When xPet was first launched, the gameplay was very simple. After logging in to Twitter to claim a pet, you could let the pet generate Berry and BPET tokens by running in the background.

This was just a SocialFi gameplay leveraging the Twitter platform, far from being a Web3 game, and far from being attractive enough.

On December 26, xPET officially announced the launch of the PvE (adventure) mode (https://app.xpet.tech/), and all pet owners with pets at level 10 or above can now experience the PvE mode.

The adventure is divided into three levels, each corresponding to different areas in which pets can participate:

Area 1: Pets at levels 10 to 29 are eligible to participate; Area 2: Pets at level 30 or above are eligible to participate; Area 3: Only open during special events, it may be open to everyone or limited to those who meet specific criteria, depending on each event.

The main rewards in the adventure are BPET. This BPET comes from 10% of the total income generated by users in the xPET store, pet upgrades, and factory upgrades on the previous day. This 10% of BPET total income is evenly distributed to the adventure layers based on the player ratio in each area. The higher the level of the pet, the more BPET rewards it will receive in the adventure. Area 2 adventure will receive more rewards than Area 1 adventure.

However, it is worth noting that claiming rewards in PvE will reduce your pet's level by 3.

In addition, participating in the adventure also provides the opportunity to obtain 1-star to 5-star xEGG fragments. These xEGG fragments can be combined to create NFT xEGG from 1 to 5 stars. xEGG fragments will become assets in the new game on xPet.tech. The egg fragments range from 1 star to 5 stars and will appear in your inventory once collected. Once enough egg fragments are collected, they can be combined into xEGG NFT.

Will xPET Continue to Be Popular?

Whether it is a traditional game or a Web3 game, the most important thing for a game to continue is to continuously attract and onboard users.

The wealth effect of the rising prices of XPET dual tokens attracts more users to the game, while the gameplay of the adventure mode uses high returns to attract users to purchase, upgrade pets, upgrade factories (preferably allowing users to lock in their earnings), allowing some users to gain high returns to create a wealth effect, attracting more users, and forming a growth flywheel in a cycle.
