According to reports, the virtual currency internet celebrity formerly known as "BitBoy," Ben Armstrong, was arrested while live streaming outside the home of a former business partner. He claimed that the former business partner had his Lamborghini.
Before going live on YouTube, he posted a message stating that he would be "going live soon from a very special location."
Less than an hour later, Armstrong was live streaming from the residence of advisor and illiquid token investor Carlos Diaz, who is known to have close ties to the Hit Network.
In the video, Armstrong raged, claiming that Diaz "wants to kill him" and accusing him of having ties to the Houston mafia.
"I'm not afraid of you, Carlos," he shouted.

After nearly 19 minutes into the live stream, Armstrong was stopped by local police, who asked if he had any weapons on him, which he denied.
Armstrong was then ordered to put down his phone, and for the remaining 17 minutes, the live stream remained blank, but the conversation between Armstrong and the police could still be heard.
According to records from the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office in Georgia, Benjamin Charles Armstrong was taken into custody at 9:11 PM local time on September 25 and is currently being held.
On September 26, Diaz confirmed in a post that Armstrong had appeared at his home.
Blockchain detective "ZachXBT" stated, "We will forever celebrate the fact that one of the most notorious bad actors in cryptocurrency has finally faced consequences."
At the end of August, Hit Network, the company that controls the "BitBoy Crypto" brand, severed ties with its public image representative Ben Armstrong, citing drug abuse and financial losses to employees.
Subsequently, several lawsuits were filed and then withdrawn. Armstrong even started a crowdfunding campaign on September 20 to pay for his legal fees, which angered the cryptocurrency community.
