Pharos Network announces the official launch of the AtlanticOcean testnet: expanding global access to RWA assets.

Since the launch of the first testnet in May, Pharos has recorded nearly 3 billion transactions across 23 million blocks, with a block time of 0.5 seconds.

The programmable open finance Layer-1 blockchain Pharos Network has launched the AtlanticOcean testnet, achieving milestone progress in the scale, memory, and speed of blockchain infrastructure, and expanding its ecosystem from a regional pilot to a globally interconnected network.

Just as the Atlantic once connected continents through trade and exploration, Pharos's AtlanticOcean testnet aims to be a bridge for on-chain global liquidity. It enables institutions, developers, and partners to test the circulation of real-world assets (RWA) across borders, laying the foundation for global ecosystem expansion before the mainnet launch.

Since the launch of the first testnet in May, Pharos has recorded nearly 3 billion transactions across 23 million blocks, with a block time of 0.5 seconds; simultaneously deploying a global validator network, achieving complete compatibility with the Ethereum Dencun specification (Dencun SPEC) and reliable block replay, while implementing multiple optimizations, including parallel execution, enhanced caching, and low-memory node publishing. Collaborations with partners such as Morpho Labs, Bitverse, and Euclid, as well as integrations with OKX Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Hemera Explorer, and Goldsky, further validate the network's maturity for large-scale, real-world scenario testing.

On this basis, AtlanticOcean introduces significant upgrades: alignment with the mainnet, an official PoS token economic model with a total supply of 1 billion, convenient staking and validator voting; a modular architecture that decouples consensus, execution, nodes, and storage layers; pipeline-based consensus enhancements; hybrid parallel execution based on DAG and Block-STM V1; cache-friendly storage provided by PharosDB; and an expanded developer toolkit to support more composable and complex testing scenarios.

Wish Wu, co-founder and CEO of Pharos Network, stated: “Based on the construction we have completed, we have validated the foundation of Pharos: exceptional performance, fair access, and scalable execution. AtlanticOcean takes this a step further. From now on, Pharos is going global. Before real assets are on-chain, we aim to push the boundaries of scale, memory, and speed to the extreme. We focus on providing a freely flowing digital track for liquidity between global institutions, protocols, and individuals.”

Pharos plans to advance the activation of the testnet in phases. To ensure continuity and a smooth transition, the first testnet will coexist with AtlanticOcean in the coming months, allowing ecosystem partners to migrate gradually. During this period, outstanding community validators will be invited to join the AtlanticOcean and future mainnet validator pool. Subsequent phases will continue to expand the network scale and advance mainnet preparations, with the goal of launching the mainnet in the first quarter of 2026—this is a key milestone in Pharos's journey towards globalization and on-chain real-world asset finance.
