WebX 2025 is Asia's flagship Web3 and blockchain conference, hosted by Japan's largest crypto media, CoinPost.

On September 8, 2025—Japan's flagship Web3 conference WebX completed its third event, a two-day conference featuring in-depth discussions, cutting-edge showcases, and high-density business exchanges. This year's event attracted over 14,000 attendees and hosted more than 170 side events.

The lineup of guests at this conference spans policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators, including: Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba; Maelstrom CEO Arthur Hayes; Blockstream co-founder and CEO Adam Back; Binance founder CZ; Dragonfly managing partner Haseeb Qureshi; Uniswap Labs founder and CEO Hayden Adams; Circle Internet Group president Heath Tarbert; SBI Holdings representative director, chairman, and CEO Yoshitaka Kitao; and many other heavyweight figures.

Highlights of WebX 2025:

  1. WebX FinTech EXPO (supported by SBI Group) was held on August 22 in Osaka as an invitation-only event in collaboration with SBI Holdings, gathering 1,000 regulators and global financial leaders—including SBI Holdings representative director, chairman, and CEO Yoshitaka Kitao, Osaka Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura, and Securitize Japan K.K.   2. The main venue of WebX 2025, themed exhibition areas, and booth zones featured five major speaking stages, sparking in-depth dialogues on topics such as stablecoins, AI, and asset tokenization. The RWA (Real World Assets) themed pavilion (supported by Toyota Blockchain Lab) and LINE NEXT themed pavilion focused on tokenization technology, decentralized applications, and gaming innovations; interactive booths allowed attendees to engage closely with leading companies. The Web3 salon area also hosted the "VC Connect" section, connecting investors with founders and creators from the global crypto startup community through panels, keynote speeches, and one-on-one meetings.

  3. The "LIGHT DANCE" drone light show on the first night of the conference featured 300 drones forming formations over Zojoji Temple, lighting up the night sky and providing a spectacular conclusion to the day's agenda.

  4. The official After Party held at Zouk in Tokyo marked a vibrant end to the two days of intense content, allowing attendees to enjoy a night of excitement together.

The composition of attendees spanned creators, mid-level managers, and executives (C-suite), demonstrating the continued expansion of WebX's influence.
