[Binance Bitcoin Mining Pool to Shut Down on November 10, Hashrate Down 65% Since Last December]
Odaily Planet Daily News: The cryptocurrency exchange Binance's Bitcoin mining pool will shut down its mining pool and related services on November 10. Miners will have approximately 4 weeks to migrate their hashrate to other pools. This mining pool previously handled about 2.3% of the Bitcoin network's hashrate. Since last December, Binance Pool's hashrate has dropped by approximately 65%, currently standing at around 9.2 EH/s, accounting for less than 1% of the Bitcoin network's total hashrate. This closure comes after the exit of several mining pools and may further concentrate block production within Foundry USA, AntPool, and F2Pool, which collectively control about 64% of the Bitcoin network's hashrate.
