**[Perpetuals com Plans to Launch Tokenized U.S. Stock Trading Under SEC "Innovation Exemption"]** BlockBeats News, October 14 — U.S.-listed fintech company Perpetuals com (Ticker: PDC) has submitted a notice outlining its plan to operate a tokenized securities trading platform under the U.S. SEC's five-year "Innovation Exemption" framework. The platform will be operated by its Delaware-based subsidiary, Kephas Corporation. Trading will utilize permissioned automated market maker (AMM) liquidity pools and will initially be deployed on the company's Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 chain, Kronos X Public. Tokenized U.S. stocks will be paired with the stablecoin USDC. According to the 30-day notice requirement, trading could begin as early as mid-November, pending completion of compliance, market data integration, and smart contract security preparations. The "Innovation Exemption" allows specific platforms to trade U.S. stocks on public blockchains without registering as traditional securities exchanges, provided the tokens offer shareholder rights equivalent to regular stocks, including dividends and voting rights. Listed companies have 30 days to file objections. Perpetuals com thus becomes the second company, following OKXICE, to advance tokenized U.S. stock markets under this framework. Its CEO, Patrick Gruhn, previously co-founded Swiss tokenization company Digital Assets AG, which helped trading platforms launch tokens tied to stocks like Tesla and Coinbase. Digital Assets AG was later acquired by FTX, where Gruhn oversaw FTX Europe operations. [Original Link]
