ASML's earnings report has a few key points worth noting:
1) Revenue in euros came in slightly below expectations, but when calculated in USD, it slightly exceeded expectations. Q3 earnings per share (EPS) beat expectations by a significant 20.8%, indicating improved cost control and a higher proportion of high-margin products in Q3.
2) This marks the third consecutive quarter of raising guidance. Q4 net sales are expected to range between €14.2 billion and €15.2 billion, higher than analysts' previous estimate of around €13.97 billion. The company also raised its full-year outlook.
3) Some customers have already expressed interest in equipment orders for 2029 and even 2030, while the company's current supply plans for 2027 and 2028 are unable to fully meet market demand.
4) Plans to continue expanding production. The company stated it will explore potential paths to further increase 2028 capacity on top of its previous 30% expansion target.
