According to The Defiant, the U.S. Department of Justice and FBI, in collaboration with international law enforcement agencies, launched a crackdown on cross-border scams. They arrested 28 individuals in Ghana and Nigeria suspected of involvement in fraud and rescued 117 victims of human trafficking. The operation also partnered with tech and crypto companies like Meta, Google, Coinbase, and Binance to take down over 3.7 million scam-related social media accounts, pages, and groups, and identified more than $11 million in potentially frozen funds. The scams involved include crypto investment fraud, pig-butchering schemes, and impersonation of law enforcement for extortion. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/us-led-multi-country-crackdown-crypto-scams-3-7m-accounts-28-arrests-70038
