Current technical evidence primarily covers iOS versions 18.4 to 18.6.2, while whether iOS 26.5 is affected remains unverified due to a lack of reproducible technical evidence. The attack reused the previously disclosed DarkSword attack chain technique, loading malicious code through a webpage disguised as a free virtual private server service. The sample includes components capable of accessing Apple Keychain, extracting and decrypting stored information, as well as accessing application files and shared data. SlowMist recommends that iPhone users install the latest iOS security updates suitable for their devices and avoid clicking on suspicious links.
