[Miner Selling Pressure May Ease, JPMorgan Says Bitcoin Needs to Hold Above $85,000] Odaily Planet Daily News – JPMorgan believes that during Bitcoin's rebound this week, it briefly surpassed the average production cost of approximately $85,000. If it can maintain above this level, it will alleviate miners' cash flow pressure and reduce the risk of passive coin selling. As of press time, Bitcoin has fallen back to around $84,600, after being below this cost line for approximately 280 consecutive days. The analyst team led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou pointed out that production costs are closer to Bitcoin's "soft floor" rather than an absolute price support level. The bank noted that Bitcoin's total network hash rate has dropped by about 19% from its peak last October, and mining difficulty has decreased by approximately 15%. Some publicly listed mining companies are reallocating resources to longer-term, more stable income AI contracts. Bitcoin's rise after the U.S. Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act also aligns with the assessment that short covering is driving the rebound.
