Looking back at the past few years in the crypto space, I’ve been through two bull markets and two bear markets, taken plenty of detours along the way. For example, dabbling in contracts—every time there was a big market move, I’d think about learning from others and making big money through contracts. But because big market moves come with big volatility, I’d end up going back and forth, making some money, losing some. The core issue was that I hadn’t done my research. It’s like not studying or working hard and expecting to ace the college entrance exam—wishful thinking, right? There were also a few highlight moments, like at the start of the last bull market. I gained a lot of attention and popularity, but even at the peak, I stuck to my principles. So, I didn’t make a fortune and instead faced some backlash. Still, I miss those days of building communities—simple, united, and full of youthful enthusiasm. This space is too treacherous; I was taken advantage of and faced a lot of criticism. Honestly, I used to be an idealist, thinking retail investors could unite and achieve big things. But in the end, without capital involvement, nothing really works. Sometimes, you just end up paving the way for others. In this bull market, I’ve returned to my original intentions. I used to want to prove something to others, but now I just quietly focus on my own investments and self-improvement. These days, I spend less than three hours a day researching crypto. In real life, I spend time with my kids, read, exercise—it’s a happy life. I don’t envy others, don’t argue with anyone. If I see something I don’t like in the crypto space, I’ll just vent about it. I haven’t wronged anyone, and my conscience is clear. I’m carefree and calm, not deeply collaborating with any major projects, so I don’t have to worry about offending anyone. I rarely take ads anymore—basically just lying low. After all these years in the space, I’ve come to realize that windfall profits often end up being lost in the end. It’s better to earn through deep thinking and long-term investments—that’s the kind of stability I value.
