I just realized I forgot to post the info about shorting ADRs on September 10th. Not only did I forget to post it, but I also completely forgot about the order itself. Lately, shorting oil has been a bit frustrating. I'll talk about the oil situation later. This morning, I finally remembered to check if there were any opportunities to short ADRs again. I noticed SK Hynix was already dropping early on, so I was getting ready to short ADRs. Then I discovered I already had an order at 192, and it hadn’t been closed yet. Well, that saves me some trouble. Personally, I think the overall pullback is due to market concerns about the Fed's interest rate decision early Thursday morning. After all, U.S. stock futures were all down before the market opened. So, I’ll hold onto this position for now, but no later than before the Fed meeting on Thursday. I don’t think a rate hike is 100% certain at this point. I’ve said multiple times that I personally don’t think there will be a hike, though I could be wrong. So, I’ll just hold onto my order for now. If there is a rate hike, the drop could be even steeper. But if there’s no hike, we should see a rebound. So, I’m not going to gamble on it. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all in one place for trading.
