Before every major market rally truly kicks off, the market rarely just shoots straight up in one go. Instead, it goes up a bit, drops a bit, breaks out, then pulls back again—grinding until you start questioning your life choices. This is actually the most frustrating part. When the market drops a lot, everyone knows it’s a bear market. When it skyrockets, everyone knows the bull has arrived. The hardest part to judge is always the transition phase between bear and bull. Right now, the market has that vibe: Good news leads to a pump, funds start to move, but there’s no sustained breakout. When $BTC pulls back even slightly, altcoins lose steam. One day it looks like a breakout, the next day it crashes back down. So, many people feel like: “Here we go again, another fakeout.” But the real issue lies here. A true major rally never waits for everyone to confirm “the bull market is here” before giving you a comfortable entry point. The market needs to shake things up repeatedly—flush out the bag holders from the last cycle, kick out short-term profit-takers, and make short sellers think “this is the top” over and over again. Until one day, you realize: Pullbacks are getting shallower, Bad news doesn’t cause big drops anymore, $BTC breaks out and doesn’t easily fall back, Major coins start rotating, Altcoins stop being one-day wonders, And the market’s profit opportunities spread from a few coins to a whole batch. That’s when the nature of the market truly changes. So right now, I won’t outright declare “the bull market is here,” because the market still needs one more convincing confirmation. But at the same time, I won’t label every rebound as a fakeout just because there’s a pullback after each pump. The biggest characteristic of an early bull market is precisely this: It doesn’t look like a bull market. Because by the time everyone can clearly see it, it’s usually no longer the most comfortable entry point. Hesitating might mean you make less profit. But the worst-case scenario is when the market truly starts turning bullish, and you’re still stuck in the mindset of the last bear market: Every small pump feels like it’s going to crash, Every breakout makes you want to short, Every pullback convinces you the bull market is over. In the end, you keep guessing the top, keep shorting, and keep fueling the bulls. The most expensive mistake in crypto isn’t buying wrong once. It’s when the trend has already shifted, but your mindset is still stuck in the last cycle. The market has long changed its script, But you’re still holding onto last season’s lines.
