QuFi Network Launches Quantum-Resistant Verification Platform Based on Bitcoin Testnet

Deep Tide TechFlow reports on September 5, citing Cointelegraph, that the quantum-resistant infrastructure project QuFi Network has officially launched a new quantum-resistant verification platform. The core innovation of this project lies in separating the 'verification' and 'settlement' processes: by deploying a decentralized node network, transactions are first verified using quantum-resistant cryptographic technology before undergoing final settlement on existing blockchain networks. This architectural design aims to avoid the high storage, bandwidth, and computational costs associated with directly implementing large-scale quantum-resistant signatures on base-layer blockchains. Under this framework, the project team has released a proof-of-concept solution for Bitcoin called uBTC, which is now live on Bitcoin's fourth testnet (Testnet4). uBTC can verify BTC collateral and generate cryptographic proofs to regulate cross-environment value transfers, with the final redemption operation manifesting as a standard Bitcoin on-chain transaction. Technically, the platform integrates three quantum-resistant standards: ML-DSA-65, SLH-DSA, and ML-KEM-1024, establishing an independent verification defense line for the future security of digital assets.
