[Trezor Data Breach Expands, Involving an Additional 67,000 U.S. Customers]
According to an official announcement from Trezor, the scope of the data breach caused by logistics service provider ShipMonk has expanded, affecting approximately 67,000 additional U.S. customers who placed orders between November 2019 and August 2021. Full information, including their names, emails, phone numbers, shipping addresses, and order numbers, has been exposed. Trezor stated that emails have been sent to all affected users, and those who did not receive an email are not impacted. The company emphasized that its own systems and devices were not compromised but advised users to remain vigilant against phishing emails, phone scams, and physical security risks. Trezor also announced that it is accelerating the rollout of anonymous shipping options to reduce future privacy exposure.
