[Apple Increases Subscription Prices for Apple TV and Apple One, Continuing Service Price Hike Strategy]
According to a report by Golden Finance on August 29, citing CNBC, Apple (AAPL.O) has recently raised the prices of its Apple TV streaming service and Apple One bundled subscription packages in the U.S. market. Specifically, the monthly fee for Apple TV has increased from $12.99 to $14.99, while the annual fee has risen from $99 to $119. The Apple One individual plan, which includes multiple services such as Apple TV, iCloud, and Apple Music, has also seen its monthly fee increase from $19.95 to $21.95. Looking back, when Apple TV was launched in 2019, its monthly fee was only $4.99. With this price adjustment, its pricing is gradually approaching the level of major competitors. This marks the second recent adjustment to subscription service prices by Apple. In July of this year, Apple raised the monthly fee for Apple Music by $1, citing increased licensing costs as the reason.
