BTC Major Update 2026.08.28
彼得兔|Aug 28, 2026 08:02
As shown in Figure 1, in our article on August 22, we mentioned that 79,500 wouldn’t be the peak of this rally. Then, on August 25, BTC hit a new high of 81,272.
On August 26, we pointed out that the 81,272 level marked the start of a minor pullback, with a high probability of continued upward movement. Today’s 81,478 further confirms that our judgment on 8.26 was correct.
So, what’s the outlook for BTC now? Is the rally over?
As shown in Figure 3, we view the upward movement starting from August 17 as a complete structure (blue segment). Currently, this upward structure appears to be complete. If BTC fails to close above 80,100 in the next two days, we assume that a pullback targeting this upward movement has begun. However, if BTC can close above 80,100 and use it as support, the rally may extend further, testing the resistance at 82,000—or even completing the entire upward move in one go, testing 84,000.
The 74,350 level is a key observation point below. If this level is breached, it could signal a pullback targeting the entire upward movement starting from 57,800. Under this scenario, Gann timing suggests that the week of September 5 or September 10 would mark a turning point (pivot point) for this rally, rather than an absolute peak. Until this level is broken, we won’t assume the upward movement from 57,800 is completely over. For now, this plan is only for risk management purposes, and I’ll provide updates if the structure changes.
Over the past 240 days, we’ve used Gann theory to almost perfectly predict every turning point in BTC’s price action. We’re confident this time will be no exception—stay tuned!
