Wu Blockchain has learned that the veteran Layer 1 blockchain Harmony stated it is working with its team and relevant exchanges to block and freeze abnormal funds, while also developing a patch and exploring rollback solutions. Previously, on-chain analyst Juiceberg claimed that Harmony may have been attacked, with the attacker minting approximately 4 billion ONE tokens through empty blocks without authorization—about 26% of the total supply. Around 2.8 billion of these tokens were quickly sent to exchanges, causing the price of ONE to plummet. Harmony has yet to disclose the cause of the attack, specific losses, or details of the rollback plan. Harmony launched its mainnet in 2019, with its native token being ONE. It was once one of the more active cross-chain and DeFi blockchains; however, its Horizon Bridge was attacked in 2022, resulting in a loss of approximately $100 million. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/news-66360
