Great point @KLoaec. TLDR on how this attack works:
Before the fork, both chains share the exact same transaction history and use the same signature format.
The rule of “bdash” chain will be the same as the mainnet - until a reliable replay protection is added.
Any transaction you sign is still cryptographically valid on the original Bitcoin chain. So when you send your bdash to a scammer, they can simply take the raw signed transaction you broadcast on the fork and rebroadcast it on mainnet Bitcoin and acquire your coins.
So the solution is just not make any transactions using bdash fork.
Plus, the bdash camp should have clearly educated people on this attack.(Sina 🗝️⚡ BI Report)
