It's a tough business asking what the market imagines inflation will be in the future. No one knows. Barring imminent crisis, the vast majority of the time they'll say "idk, ask The Fed". To which the Fed will say "idk, like 2%? ish?"(𝐓𝐗𝐌𝐂)
