At MYBW, I saw the most unconventional thing: a Crypto company bought 30+ robots in Kuala Lumpur. 1. This year marks the 3rd MYBW (Malaysia Blockchain Week). The first edition was mostly a local event, but this year, despite the deep bear market, builders from across the Asia-Pacific region showed up. So even in a bear market, it’s not like no one’s around. Those who remain are the ones truly continuing to build. 2. Had an in-depth chat with two friends from BNB Chain. After the market crash, what fresh value can marketing and offline events bring to our users? That’s why Trust Wallet is also planning some offline events. Stay tuned, and we’ll invite everyone to join the fun when the time comes. 3. Talked to a Crypto company about collaboration opportunities, and it turns out they’ve pivoted to AI robotics. The money they made in Crypto is now being invested bit by bit into robotics data. They bought 30 Unitree robots just to run data. I asked the most pressing question: how long until large-scale application of robots? Their answer: 3 years. 4. Chatted with some KOLs based here about their digital nomad lifestyle. Low cost, slow pace, close proximity. And interestingly, a Lamborghini with a Bitcoin license plate happened to be parked right where we were talking. Southeast Asia right now has no shortage of patience, and patience happens to be the only effective asset in a bear market. Still early, Still going.
