The detailed arrangement is as follows: perpetual contracts will enter only reduction trading mode and stop trading BVIX-USDT on July 30 at 15:30 (UTC+8) on July 30 at 16:00 (UTC+8) on July 30, EVIX-USDT on July 30 at 15:30 (UTC+8) on July 30, 2026. The above contract trading markets will be adjusted to only reduction trading mode. On July 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM (UTC+8), Gate will clear and settle open positions based on the average index price of the last half hour before offline. Any pending orders that have not been executed will be automatically cancelled. If you have transactions in the above markets, please adjust your strategy in advance and close your positions before 16:00 (UTC+8) on July 30, 2026, otherwise it will be automatically settled. Regarding the calculation method for clearing prices when a contract is taken offline, Gate will automatically clear and settle open positions based on the average index price of the last half hour before the contract is taken offline. If there is a significant price fluctuation in the last half hour, a larger range of average index prices should be selected to avoid losses caused by price manipulation to users.
