[China's AI Large Models Lead Global Weekly Call Volume: Xiaomi MiMo-V2.5 Tops the List, Claude Drops Out Entirely for the First Time in Nearly a Year, Only One U.S. Model Makes the List]
According to the latest data estimates from OpenRouter, the global weekly call volume for AI large models last week (July 20 to 26) reached 58 trillion tokens, a week-on-week decrease of 6.75%. Among the listed AI large models, China's weekly call volume for AI large models reached 33 trillion tokens, a week-on-week decline of 8.61%; during the same period, the weekly call volume for U.S. AI large models was 2.34 trillion tokens, a week-on-week drop of 67.86%. China's weekly call volume has reached 14.1 times that of the U.S., surpassing the U.S. for thirteen consecutive weeks and firmly holding the global top spot. Last week, the top five models in global call volume were all Chinese AI large models. Among them, Xiaomi MiMo-V2.5 rose to first place with a weekly call volume of 10.5 trillion tokens, a week-on-week increase of 12%. Previously, Tencent Hy3 (free), which was in a limited free trial phase, held the top spot for two consecutive weeks. As the free version was removed from OpenRouter last week, its weekly call volume dropped 85% week-on-week to 1.76 trillion tokens, falling to ninth place. Meanwhile, the earlier free trial helped the model reach developers, and the paid version of Tencent Hy3 saw a rapid increase in call volume, ranking third with 3.94 trillion tokens, a week-on-week growth of over 999%.
