[South Korea Pension Funds Turn Net Buyers of KOSPI for the First Time This Year, Heavy Position in SK Hynix] According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on July 26, data from the Korea Exchange revealed that pension funds, including the National Pension Service (NPS), one of the largest institutional investors in the South Korean stock market, turned net buyers in the Korean stock market for the first time this month. Korea Exchange data showed that as of July 24, the National Pension Service and other pension funds had cumulatively net purchased KOSPI index constituent stocks worth 68.4 billion Korean won (approximately $46.8 million) since July. This marks the first monthly net buying by pension funds this year after six consecutive months of net selling. From the perspective of individual stocks, SK Hynix was the stock most purchased by pension funds since July, with a net buying amount reaching 425.8 billion Korean won. (Jin10)
