Iran's Interior Minister, Esfandiar Momeni, arrived in Islamabad and was personally welcomed by Pakistan's Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi. On the surface, it's a bilateral cooperation visit discussing border security, trade, and agriculture. But considering the current context, Pakistan is actively maintaining mediation channels, and Iran has also chosen to keep communication open through Islamabad. At the very least, it shows that neither the U.S. nor Iran has completely shut the door on diplomatic mediation.
