[Tokenized Stock Market Cap Hits Record High of $2.3 Billion]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow on July 17, as reported by Cointelegraph, the tokenized stock market capitalization surged to a record $2.3 billion on Wednesday, driven by growing investor demand for blockchain equity products. The Ethereum network leads with a 34% market share, followed by BNB Chain and Solana with 30% and 23%, respectively. Kraken's xStocks contributed $507 million, Binance's bStocks reached $334 million, and Ondo Finance maintained its position as the largest issuer with $955 million.
More crypto platforms are introducing traditional investment products to the blockchain, providing access for investors outside the U.S. and supporting fractional ownership and 24/7 trading. On June 1, Binance opened zero-commission trading for over 7,000 U.S. tokenized stocks to qualified users, while Coinbase plans to launch 24/5 commission-free U.S. stock and ETF trading services in December 2025.
