According to Bits media, the number of global crypto ATMs dropped from 39,158 to 28,322 in the first half of this year, with 10,836 machines decommissioned in six months—a decline of 27.7%. About 96% of these were located in the United States. The number of crypto ATMs in the U.S. fell from 30,617 to 20,237, a decrease of 33.9%, but as of the end of June, the U.S. still accounted for approximately 71.5% of active devices worldwide. Experts interviewed by Finbold stated that the decline in numbers wasn’t due to reduced demand, but rather operators scaling back infrastructure in response to crypto market volatility and tighter regulatory requirements. One of the major U.S. crypto ATM operators, Bitcoin Depot, filed for bankruptcy in May after suffering a $3.6 million hacking incident. https://(wublock123.com)/news/global-crypto-atm-count-falls-27-7-percent-us-decommissions-96-63924
