To celebrate the official launch of the "Trump Account" for minors, the White House will hold a bell ringing ceremony
BlockBeats News: On June 29th, White House National Economic Council Director Hassett announced that officials from Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange plan to jointly ring the opening bell in the Oval Office to celebrate the official launch of the "Trump Account" for minors. Hassett said, "Next week we will hold a grand opening bell ringing ceremony, where Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange will jointly ring the bell in the Oval Office for the first time. They are doing this to celebrate the official launch of the 'Trump Account' and let everyone know that it is time to open an account for their own children, even if the child was not born this year." The tax benefit savings account announced by Trump earlier will be officially launched on July 4th. All US citizens born between 2025 and 2028, which covers Trump's second presidential term, are eligible for an initial investment of $1000 provided by the US government. However, older children can also open and use such accounts. In addition, some eligible children can also receive a $250 funding injection from Dell Technologies founder Michael Dell and his wife Susan. The White House has not immediately responded to a request for comment regarding the above arrangements. Trump rang the opening bell on the New York Stock Exchange in December 2024, before his second term as president.
