The meme stocks are back, bros!!!
Remember GameStop? Back in 2021, it went from $0.6 to $480.
That surge happened because a big Reddit influencer, Roaring Kitty, posted about saving GameStop.
Plus, Wall Street institutions were shorting it, which caused the stock to skyrocket 800x.
Yesterday, another big Reddit influencer started calling to save Wendy’s.
Wendy’s is a burger joint.
They posted, 'If this company goes bankrupt, we’ll all have to dig through trash bins for burgers!' The post went viral fast, getting nearly 3,700 likes and 900+ comments.
Now, tons of users are talking about buying the stock or options.
The latest data shows about 29-37% of the float is shorted. Back then, GameStop had 90% short interest.
But I checked Reddit, and that post has already been deleted by Reddit admins.
