WuTalk has learned that the U.S. Department of Justice announced the seizure of cloud computing accounts linked to Huione Group. These accounts are alleged to provide backend infrastructure support for Huione Guarantee (also known as Haowang Guarantee). According to the DOJ, the platform facilitated illegal activities such as money laundering, fraud, credit card theft, identity trafficking, malware crimes, and human trafficking through Telegram channels. It also provided custody and settlement support for crypto asset transactions, assisting Southeast Asian scam networks in transferring and laundering funds.
