According to CryptoRank data, from January 1 to June 17, the number of crypto funding rounds dropped from 654 in 2021 to 402 in 2026, a decrease of 38.5%. Early-stage funding saw the most significant decline, with Seed/Pre-Seed rounds falling from 265 to 135, a drop of 49.1%. Series A and later rounds decreased from 124 to 85, down 31.5%.
