When Cyprus assumed the Presidency, our ambition was clear: to be a results-driven Presidency, building consensus, translating strategic objectives into concrete outcomes for European citizens. All under the objective of giving substance to European Strategic Autonomy, to European Independence, coupled with Openness to the World. 6 months later, I can proudly say that we have acted as an honest broker, approaching this institutional responsibility with strong determination and a strong sense of European duty, to deliver across the European agenda. The progress achieved during this semester demonstrates that when we act together, with purpose, solidarity and determination, Europe delivers.
