U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC): For the week ending June 9, speculators increased net short positions in Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) U.S. Treasury futures by 3,452 contracts to 163,305 contracts. Speculators reduced net short positions in CBOT U.S. 2-year Treasury futures by 130,350 contracts to 1,219,838 contracts, reduced net short positions in U.S. 5-year Treasury futures by 49,056 contracts to 1,320,162 contracts, increased net short positions in U.S. 10-year Treasury futures by 34,232 contracts to 863,807 contracts, and increased net short positions in U.S. ultra-long Treasury futures by 31,021 contracts to 318,731 contracts.
