Bitcoin closed down 0.35% on Wednesday and wicked below support, printing a lower low than Tuesday at 60,755 versus 60,780. The structure is a bearish pennant and I still expect BTC to lose this support line, which opens the door to my next artificial support targets at 49,000 and 38,555. The SI dropped to 21.73, on-balance volume is trending sharply lower, and three consecutive days of selling pressure give me no reason to change my bearish outlook. Ethereum is in worse shape, having opened below short-term support Wednesday, wicked above it briefly, and then closed below it again with a lower low than Tuesday. The bear flag remains valid and I am targeting a drop to around 1,080, with my personal short from 2,400 still targeting 1,000 as a 55% return without leverage. Altcoins took a hard hit as Bitcoin dominance climbed 0.47% while others dominance dropped 1.49% and pierced the cloud, pointing to bearish consolidation ahead for the broader alt market. In traditional markets, S&P Futures printed a TBO close long on Wednesday, down 1.66%, which signals the bullish uptrend may be running out of steam with open gaps at 6,887 and 6,618 still waiting to be filled. Gold broke down 4.41% and printed a TBO breakdown, though the RSI confirmed a low at 14.21 that is higher than the March low at 11.19, making this a risky but real dip buy opportunity for the bold. The Yen hit 160.573 on Wednesday, closing in on a prior rejection high of 160.724, and this is the most dangerous macro setup I am watching right now.
