[ZachXBT Accuses Arthur Hayes of Promoting Tokens and Quickly Selling Them, Creating 'Exit Liquidity']
According to Cryptopolitan, blockchain investigator ZachXBT has accused BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes of liquidating four crypto tokens he had publicly endorsed within two weeks, questioning how much 'exit liquidity' his followers provided. Hayes' exit operations were as follows: On May 22, he referred to HYPE, ZEC, and NEAR as the 'Holy Trinity' and established long positions; on June 4, he liquidated HYPE and NEAR, stating he would release a 'Reality Test' to explain the reasons; on June 5, he sold ZEC, citing that the privacy narrative in the context of AI, governments, and big tech companies demands perfection, but the Orchard pool vulnerability undermined this premise and could not be cryptographically proven to have been absolutely unexploited; on June 6, he sold WLD, stating 'this chart doesn’t look right.'
