[Google Signs Agreement with SpaceX to Purchase Computing Power for $920 Million Per Month]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on June 6, company documents revealed that Google (GOOG.O) has agreed to pay SpaceX $920 million per month for computing power as part of a cloud services agreement, which will last until mid-2029. In documents submitted by SpaceX on Friday, it was stated that Google will pay SpaceX a monthly fee from October until June 2029. The computing power provided includes approximately 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, memory, and other related components, with the computing capacity gradually increasing before September, leading to a corresponding reduction in costs. The documents indicate that if SpaceX fails to deliver the agreed number of GPUs by September 30, 2026, Google has the right to terminate the contract, with a one-month grace period. Additionally, under the agreement disclosed on Friday, either party has the right to terminate the agreement with 90 days' prior notice.
