[Arthur Hayes: Fully Liquidated ZEC Holdings, Privacy Narrative Demands Perfection Over Low-Probability Security] BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes posted on the X platform that he has fully liquidated all his ZEC holdings due to the Orchard pool vulnerability. He stated that although the likelihood of this vulnerability being exploited is extremely low, it cannot be cryptographically proven to have absolutely not occurred. In the context of AI, governments, and large tech companies, the privacy narrative demands perfection, not low-probability security. Hayes mentioned that after reading the vulnerability report yesterday, he realized it contradicted his narrative logic. The 30% plunge in ZEC prompted him to reassess, ultimately deciding to take profits and close all positions. He added that he will continue to reevaluate his judgment and is willing to repurchase at a lower price if his assumptions are proven wrong.
