China's National Healthcare Security Administration said it will draft a national medical insurance project catalog covering 11 service categories, using clinically chargeable items with government-guided prices as the basis and excluding special items such as blood-related charges. First-batch categories under consideration include clinical assessment scales; traditional Chinese medicine services (moxibustion, cupping, tuina, external treatments, acupuncture, orthopedics, special therapies); dental implants; assisted reproduction; obstetrics; radiological examinations; and rehabilitation. The agency said classifications and scope will follow the trial National Medical Service Price Project Establishment Guidelines and will be issued in batches in step with provincial guideline rollouts.(金十数据)
