The National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center announced it has formally launched drafting of the industry standard 'Safety Classification Technical Specification for Humanoid Robots'. The action follows deployment requirements in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Guiding Opinions on Innovative Development of Humanoid Robots and the Standard System for Humanoid Robots and Embodied Intelligence (2026 edition) to establish and improve the standards framework and to strengthen cross‑lifecycle coverage of safety and ethics standards.
