Iran's intelligence agency says enemy is pressuring through soft war
Odaily Planet Daily News: Iran's Tasnim News Agency reported today (May 27th) that Iranian intelligence agencies have issued a statement stating that "hostile forces" are attempting to exert new pressure on Iran through "soft warfare," "cognitive warfare," and other "hybrid warfare" methods. The statement stated that according to the information obtained by Iran, the enemy's current focus is on seven directions, including increasing economic pressure, using social issues to incite public opinion, stirring up ethnic and religious conflicts, carrying out terrorist attacks and sabotage activities, smuggling weapons and illegal communication equipment, launching cyber attacks, and using foreign Persian language media and social media platforms to carry out information warfare. The statement also stated that the enemy had attempted to use armed groups to launch ground operations from western and northwestern Iran, but the relevant plans have been thwarted by the Iranian side. The statement also accuses some foreign media of participating in information warfare and claims that Iranian intelligence agencies have seized a large number of weapons and communication equipment. The Iranian intelligence agency stated at the end of the statement that Iran has experienced multiple wars, attempted coups, and various security challenges, and has maintained stability in intelligence and mixed warfare.
