The foundation currently holds only about 0.16% of all ETH, even lower than many large ETH holders; And many other blockchain projects' 'central foundations' typically hold 10% -50% of the tokens. The Ethereum Foundation has decided to use its remaining resources to pursue "long-term viability" rather than constantly expanding (which also means they will sell less ETH).
