U.S. cross-border remittance and payment company MoneyGram announced that it has become an 'anchored remittance validator' for the Layer 1 blockchain Tempo, jointly developed by Stripe and Paradigm. MoneyGram will validate remittance transactions on the network and integrate global fund flows, including stablecoin settlements with Stripe. Tempo focuses on stablecoin transactions and exchanges, targeting use cases such as remittances, retail commerce, and corporate fund management. Other enterprise validators for Tempo include Stripe, Visa, and Zodia Custody. Tempo launched its mainnet in mid-March and completed a $500 million Series A funding round last October.
