According to a report by Jinse Finance, on May 8, the CME 'FedWatch' tool showed that the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping rates unchanged in June is 94.9% (previously 96.9% before the announcement), while the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut is 5.1% (previously 3.1% before the announcement). By July, the probability of keeping rates unchanged is 88.8% (previously 90.7% before the announcement), the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut is 10.8% (previously 9.1% before the announcement), and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point rate cut is 0.4% (previously 0.2% before the announcement).
