Yemen's Houthi Armed Forces Crack Down on Spy Networks Related to the US and Israel
According to a report by Golden Finance, on April 29th, the Houthi armed group in Yemen issued a statement stating that they had uncovered a "spy network" during a security operation and released the latest statements of some of the individuals involved. The statement alleges that the network is related to intelligence agencies in countries such as the United States and Israel. The statement stated that the operation, codenamed "The conspiracy will eventually fail," involved the arrest of a group of individuals suspected of intelligence activities by the security forces controlled by the Houthis during the operation. According to the statement, some of the arrested individuals were accused of participating in the collection of sensitive information, including monitoring important civilian, security, and military facilities, and providing coordinates and other data to relevant parties. The statement stated that this information was used to carry out strike operations, resulting in local casualties. The statement also stated that personnel were recruited through intermediaries, including military personnel and individuals with the ability to obtain relevant information. The individuals involved in the case indirectly obtained information through participating in public activities, establishing social networks, and other means, including contacting government officials or their relatives to collect information on military capabilities, personnel movements, meetings, and locations. The Houthi armed forces stated in a statement that they will continue to remain highly vigilant and crack down on any behavior that endangers security and stability. (CCTV News)
