[Second Round of Direct Talks Between Lebanon and Israel to Be Held Soon, Trump Plans to Attend Certain Sessions]
Reported by Jinse Finance, on April 24, U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to participate in certain sessions of the second round of direct talks between Israel and Lebanon at the White House. It is reported that Trump also plans to meet with the ambassadors of both countries to the U.S. after their arrival. This second round of talks coincides with the imminent expiration of Lebanon's ten-day ceasefire agreement. Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Yehiel Leiter and Lebanese Ambassador to the U.S. Nada Hamadeh Mouawad will attend the talks. U.S. Secretary of State Rubio is also expected to participate in parts of the meeting. Additionally, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michelle Issa, and State Department Advisor Michael Needham will also be present.
