Met with President @AlarKaris during his state visit to Lithuania 🇱🇹🇪🇪 We discussed regional security, support for Ukraine, and the need to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank. We also focused on strategic energy and infrastructure projects, including Rail Baltica, and deepening economic cooperation. Lithuania and Estonia stand together in the NB8, 3B and across the Baltic Sea region. Our unity is essential to ensuring a strong and coordinated response to today’s security challenges. Russia remains the most significant, direct and long-term threat to Euro-Atlantic security. We must strengthen deterrence, increase defense investment, and maintain sustained support for Ukraine.(Gitanas Nausėda)
