The current interface shows that this service is provided by the BNB Chain-based derivatives DEX, Aster. Upon entering the page, Binance will display a disclaimer stating that everything happens on Aster, and Binance Wallet only serves as a display and on-chain participation channel. Why is this so important? Because in many regions, there are specific regulations for derivatives, which prevent local users from accessing centralized exchanges for crypto contracts. But if this service is built into an on-chain wallet, it can bypass the regulatory requirements for centralized products, allowing users to participate in crypto contracts, with transactions settled directly on-chain.
