I have to say I am grateful for the very few serious and knowledgeable Bitcoin analysts on this app. There is a stark knowledge and skill differences between various self proclaimed Bitcoin “quants”. It goes from total frauds to professional analysts. This week, I really liked Gio and Stephen taking days to distill their thoughts into a paper. Several pages of math and theory of analysis that finally puts everything together and does justice to the idea of the Bitcoin Power Law. These days not many people choose to or can do this. Instead they try to ride waves with AI slop and no real effort. Bro cannot even coherently explain what an R2 or a regression coefficient is and calls himself a “quant” 😁 In this context, talking to scientists is a breath of fresh air. Even in debates and disagreements, I get what Gio says. He gets what I say. And in the end the discussion progresses. There is no comparison: Engagement farming, basement bros who have no idea what they are talking about vs. professional, trained, experienced analysts. I get frustrated at times seeing the first group so loud in here. But grateful for every serious and knowledgeable analyst that shares their work here for free.(Sina 🗝️⚡ BI Report)
